Pick the one that costs you the most. It builds it now.
The same week, with and without it.
| When | The tool you have | Gobuso |
|---|---|---|
| Four years of job cards in a filing cabinet | Retype 1,880 vehicles before day one | Upload it as-is, review what it read |
| A service and a warranty job need different notes | One job card for both | Describe each one, read it back, change it |
| A manufacturer queries a claim from last month | Go and find the card | Open the vehicle, read its history |
What workshop owners ask before they start.
Our technicians are not office people.
They do not have to be. The technician sees four fields on a phone at the ramp and a box for the customer to sign. Everything long and awkward stays in the front desk form, which he never opens.
Will the parts count actually match the shelf?
It matches what the technicians record, which is the only number any system has. The difference is that a part now comes off the shelf against a job and a vehicle, so a gap at stocktake points at a week and a ramp instead of at nothing.
We already have four years of data.
That is the starting point, not the obstacle. Import the spreadsheets you keep as they are: each one opens with every doubtful cell marked, and nothing is added until you have seen it.
What if the AI gets it wrong?
It will, sometimes. That is why nothing is saved until you have read it and said yes. Checking its work is a step in the product, not an afterthought.
